The 5 km run/jog/walk was a fundraiser for Lumcloon N.S. in Lough Boora Discovery Park. It was held on Sunday 25th of September 11.00 am. There were prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd runners and no prizes given out to walkers/joggers and if pupils got €30 sponsorship on their support sheet they got to go in for free. The weather at the start was sunny but then it started to rain. We went back to the Lough Boora Inn afterwards for tea and cakes. Some people got soaked on the way. Thanks to all the people that took part in the 5 Km run.
