Last Friday Inland Fisheries Ireland came to our school. They brough a number of local fish species and then brough the children down to the river and helped them safely catch study and return some local species from the river. The children really enjoyed learning more about their local environment. A big thanks to the Inland Fisheries and our neighbours the Guinans who allowed us access to the river through their feilds.
