A lot has been happening in school since Christmas.
We had a great day out in January at the Peace Proms in Limerick.
Our senior pupils attended a Badminton Blitz in Mucklagh and had a great day.
Mainstream classes had swimming lessons in Clara Pool and some of our swimmers are making great progress.
Most recently, some of our younger pupils made their First Confession on March 15th in the school. They did a great job and Fr. Pat was very impressed with them. We look forward to April 29th when they will make their First Holy Communion.
Some of our older pupils made their Confirmation on March 22nd in Cloghan and they too did an excellent job. Congratulations and well done!
Nigel, our GAA coach has moved on to a new position within the GAA and will no longer be visiting our school. A new coach will take his place, but that person has not yet been appointed.
Our Parents’ Association are organising an Easter Treasure Hunt for the pupils in the school on Friday, March 31st and will then host a Coffee Morning where they will serve tea, coffees and a treat for €2.00. The Coffee Morning starts at 11.00 am and they would like to invite all parents, grandparents, and friends of the school to attend.
They have also organised an Easter Hamper and will sell raffle tickets for the hamper on the day, costing €2.00 each.
Reminder:
School is closing on Friday, March 31st for the Easter Break.
We will reopen on Monday, April 17th.
