Over the past couple of days the Christmas celebrations have been in full swing. The school concert took place on Wednesday the 17th and it was a massive success, it was a great night enjoyed by all the children parents and the staff. Massive thanks to the staff and children in organising the show. The raffle was massive success and raised funds that will be put straight back into improving are school. Thanks you to the staff and Parents association for making the raffle happen. A special thank you Spar Cloghan, Cloghna Filling Station, Paddy Flynn’s Cloghan, Total Health Ferbane and Banagher, Fox’s Pharmacy Birr, Flaherty Fuel Ferbane, Supervalu Birr and Banagher, Mid Ireland Adventure tours, O’Callaghans Centra Ferbane, Pat Heenan Midlands Utilities, Wendy Heavin, Alma Kelly, Sinead Egan, Fiona Buckley, Jackie Conneely, Fiona Slevin and Dolores McCabe.
Another big thank you to the parents of the two Le Cheile classes and the SNAs who helped with our fundraising at the Lough Boora Christmas market. All funds raised will go back into the Le Cheile classes for trips and other facilities.
We also had a special visitor in school today! Santa came to visit the school and brought treats for all the boys and girls as well as prizes for the Christmas art competition. Thank you to Nicola, Aiden and all in Spar Cloghan who are fantastic supports of our school. We’ve loads of photos below of all events so please have a look.
