The Government has decided to implement a recommendation by NPHET that primary school pupils from 3rd class upwards be required to wear face masks. This decision was communicated to schools on November 30th and was subsequently updated on December 6th. We are posting the updated notice received from the Department of Education and a letter from Dr. Holohan, Chief Medical Officer to all parents on our website below.
Please note these requirement are for pupils from 3rd class and upwards only but pupils in the juniors classes will not be prevented from wearing masks if parents wish it.
